Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The sleek, compact design makes JX10 Series II among the smallest and lightest Bluetooth headsets available - but there is no compromise on the prize-winning functionality and performance for which Jabra is famous. Weighing in at less than 1/3 oz. (10 grams), featuring a newly designed earhook and an improved eargel, you'll barely feel you're wearing it. The JX10 Series II now gives you over 6 hours of talk time and choice of stylish color options.Every aspect of the JX10 Series II is designed to perfection. Pairing to your mobile phone is simple with the intuitive one-touch button. The JX10 Series II is equipped with the multipoint functionality software (active connections to two phones without the need to "pair"). Even recharging is simple with the elegant desktop charging cradle or use the included car charger. Automatic volume control elevates sound level and quality to match your environment - and active noise cancellation through DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology reduces background noise significantly for better sound quality.

4 out of 5 stars Jabra JX10 II   October 22, 2008

This is my third JX-10, second version II, cause it got washed. Love it. Fits in my pocket when not needed (restaurants, other conversations). Looked at others, but this product has too many accessories that others dont.

2 out of 5 stars light and comfortable, but not the best functionally   October 8, 2008
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

i have owned this bluetooth headset for a little over 10 months now. i use my bluetooth not only in the car but at home, so i'm essentially on it 90% of the time i use my phone (sony w810i). i bought it from Best Buy back in december, maybe as a late christmas gift to myself since my last bluetooth turned out to be a dud.

initially i felt that the jabra was a great product because not only is it super light, but it's comfortable. the quality of the calls were clear at home. but after using it in different contexts, i realized that it has a number of significant shortcomings.

PROs:
- lightweight
- comfortable (i forget i'm wearing it)
- easy buttons / intuitive functionality
- sleek design

CONs:
- limited range (minor)
- a LOT of background noise
- slow to pick up and dial calls

it has an OK battery life. now, i'm comparing these with the best functioning bluetooth i've ever owned - the Logitech Freedom, which people cant even tell if i'm outside walking around in windy san francisco.

anyway, i didnt realize how much this bluetooth was lacking in functionaility until friends would complain about the background noise, and i'd notice myself asking "what?" a lot. A LOT. frustrating. so when i finally caved and bought the jawbone ii, i was surprised how there was no lag between pressing the "answer" button and actually being connected. the jabra had something like a 2 second delay. i'm not exaggerating. when it connects, i can hear people on the other line saying "hello? hello?" i just got used to it.

anyway, i dont want to turn this into a hating review, but the jawbone is at least 10x better. sorry jabra. it IS comfortable though.

5 out of 5 stars ALL WENT SMOOTHLY   September 30, 2008

I love this little Bluetooth headset. It is the second one I've owned and wanted a second one as a backup. This one is version 2 of the headset that Jabra has come out with, and it is really good.

5 out of 5 stars Great Product   August 28, 2008

I have an older version of this bluetooth that I still use and that is why I ordered another one when I was issued a company phone. I like it because I don't have to use the piece that hooks onto the ear because I can't seem to get those things to work right and its always interfering with my sunglasses. The ear pieces fits into my ear perfectly and stays there. Its so comfortable I forget its there. Its not big or bulky and I like the discreet quality.

clarity and reception is great too! Amazon has the best prices!

2 out of 5 stars Noise cancellation is very poor with my iPhone   May 10, 2008
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

I bought this against my better judgement when I lost my Aliph Jawbone. I had a Jabra 250vt and it had terrible problems with clarity. People were always complaining. The Aliph has excellent noise elimination, really makes a huge difference. After a single day, I've decided to return this one and get the Jawbone. The JX10 sits snugly in your ear, but was uncomfortable for me. Also the volume is a bit low. But the killer is the outgoing sounds. My brother on my first phone call said "Wow, are you in a tunnel or a windstorm or crinkling paper up next to your phone?" With the Jawbone, I'm not kidding, people couldn't even tell I was driving except that my voice was raised. Maybe it's just an iPhone thing, but I'll always get Jawbones now. The voice cancellation technology on the Jawbone has a special sensor that uses the noise coming out of your jaw to cancel the noise, and it works perfectly in almost every circumstance. The JX10 has crappy sound and just looks good.
