4 out of 5 stars good but could be better   August 9, 2008
The headset works great and is light and easy to wear. The sound quality for the stereo headset feature is very good, but the hands free function only uses the left ear and is staticy at times. The controls on each earpiece work well and it's easy to feel which are which while wearing the headset.

4 out of 5 stars No Problems So far   August 6, 2008
I bought these on E***.com OEM new. They sound really good, really deep bass. And they get really loud. I'm sure they would be much louder than my rider lawn mower when I where them while cutting the grass. I am a generally gig person. Head included. It hurts the bone behind each ear, right in the middle. Not enough not to wear them, but almost. Battery does hold a charge for a good 5 1/2 hours. Then it starts to beep and get anoying.

I use these with my Samsung Upstage 2 ( SPH-M620 ). When I turned them on the second time couldn't get them to play. Play the music on your phone first. Then press the middle button the right ear. Transfers it over.

The buttons are hard to press, you have to get them in the right spot. I was afraid I'd break the thing in half turning the volume up.

Call quality is pretty good inside, no tunneling.

1 out of 5 stars 3 pairs didn't get it right!   August 6, 2008
My husband went through 3 pairs of these. He used them while running. they all gave out in about 1 months time. I wouldn't reccommend them to anyone! We bought a Sansa MP3 player for about 50 bucks less than these and he used that for music instead of his phone.

1 out of 5 stars Don't buy these!!!   August 5, 2008
Fantastic while they work. My first pair lasted about 3 weeks before the volumn controls got stuck decreasing. Sent them to Motorola and the second pair lasted a week. Same issue. I'm about to send these back and try a third pair. Read other reviews, this is apparently very common. I haven't read many positive reviews where the author owned these more than a couple of months. Three strikes and they're out.

There's a lemon law in the USA to protect customers against companies like Motorola.

3 out of 5 stars buying another pair...hope this one lasts longer.   August 4, 2008
I am (right this minute) ordering another S9 to replace the one that I have used daily for the last 6 months. I have it paired with my Chocolate and use it to play MP3's while I exercise. It has decided to go completely crazy and call my sister. A lot. Like every 5 seconds. I don't know why it picked my sister but I love this thing so much that I am going to next day air a replacement rather than go without. I think that it has been exposed to too much sweat. If the next one only lasts six months I will have to rethink my strategy. It sounds really good and doesn't move when I run.
