Product Description A Bluetooth headset on your cell phone is a really good thing. Many Cities and States, however, are clamping down of cellular-phone use while driving. Many do allow the use of a speakerphone. The Jabra SP500 is a wireless solution for greater mobile comfort and convenience. To enjoy hands-free, cordless speakerphone conversation, just place the Jabra SP500 on a desk or tabletop and pair with your mobile phone. If you're out driving, the handy travel kit, including clips, suction mount and charger - means you can clip it onto your sun visor or affix to your windshield and keep your eyes on the road. It has been designed for total ease-of-use with the busy professional in mind. A dedicated pairing button means you're just one touch away from Bluetooth connection to your mobile phone. Other convenient features include pivoting microphone for optimal voice pick-up, digital volume wheel and mute button for added privacy. With up to 20 hours talk time and 480 hours standby (per fully charged battery), the Jabra SP500 will see you through the working day and beyond! Add to this the latest Bluetooth technology 1.2 for faster connection and improved audio quality and you have one of the most technologically advanced Bluetooth speakerphones.

Very convenient speaker for your bluetooth July 25, 2008 I was surprised at how long the battery lasts on this speaker. I always forget to turn it off and it still lasted a good week and a half. The sound quality is good and the people on the other end have no complaints about being able to hear you. When your cell phone rings in the car the speaker makes it's ringing noise and it reminds you to answer the speaker and not the actual cell phone or you will get a ticket. I would recommend over the ear bud type as long as you don't mind other people listening in on your conversations.
DO NOT BUY!! July 16, 2008 0/5
The product will not turn on. It worked after my first charge and use, but since recharging it the second time it will not function. Worthless piece of *&^% and a waste of 40 bucks. I want my money back.
Good value for price March 24, 2008 I've had this product for 3 weeks and so far so good. It linked quickly to my Motorola phone and others claim to hear me just fine. At times the speaker cuts out but so does a regular cell phone. I considered the other model Jabra for twice the price but this one does the job I need (hands-free in NJ) and it is still running on its original charge.
Decent for the cost January 25, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this to add bluetooth to my car. I found that the sound quality is mixed. The other party often complained of the speech not being clear. It got better with the mic pulled out and closer to the speaker.
Disappointing October 6, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Product worked ok for a while and then the people I was speaking with on it began to complain - would not recommend it to others.
