Headphones November 19, 2008 They're not real Motorola (or the quality is poor) but they work fine. The "on/off: button is hard to make work, but not the end of the world
Not Great Yet October 16, 2008 The Motorokr S9 seemed like a great product; wireless, stereo, phone compatibility, etc. There are, however, a few major problems.
1. Left ear only phone communication is a bust...moderate hearing loss in my left eat.
2. Product does not allow for resting head back in high-back chairs...device pushes against ears.
3. Ear buds uncomfortable after wearing awhile...head apparatus tension pushes buds into ears.
4. Signal cuts in and out...I use the Rasr2 V9 and place it sandwiched over my waist band in the small of my back. Works great in this position.
Fix these items Motorola and this will be a great product.
Needs Work but sounds great October 9, 2008 Pros: 1. Great music sound 2. Easy button control 3. Easy pairing process 4. I purchased mine at $39.99 for this price the quality and craftsmanship is worth trying to work out the bugs.
Cons: 1. As many of the other reviews suggest, sweat/water will cause the volume buttons to not work correctly. Strange how both sides have the same controls but only the left volume side ends up broke. I ride a bike back and forth to work 8.5 miles in Florida. 2. Phone conversation quality is horrendous which might have a highlight if you are using them to work out and need an excuse to get off the phone. 3. Bluetooth Distance is really bad.
Other thoughts: 1. I plan to look for some type of surgical rubber tubing or shrink tubing to cover the volume controls, I may even use saran wrap and small rubber bands. 2. Motorola has a good return and replace policy in the event you run into issues during the first year. 3. The liquid in the controls will dry out after a few days, I left mine a week and when I used them again they worked until the next time I rode the bike into work :(
Great wireless headphones! October 7, 2008 These headphones are great. It's so nice to have music on my cell phone that I can listen to when I'm waiting in the doctor's office or going to the restroom. The signal cuts out sometimes when you are walking with it in your bottom cargo pocket, but other than that I'm very pleased with the performance.
Excellent headphones! August 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that the back is a little big and gets in the way when doing some bench exercises (but not too bad). The weight of the back of it puts a little pressure on the ears making it uncomfortable at times. There should be a battery indicator bar (versus blinking lights and tones you dont tend to notice). Lastly when a call comes in you only get sound on one side. why is this? That is annoying. My last headphones played calls on both sides. But given all this, the product works excellent. I absolutely love the reception and the freedom from wires. so cool. plus it looks great, not like the dorky blinking ear things the dorks wear around the city.
