screen protectors December 29, 2008 This is perfect for a younger person. It protects the screen from scratches. Most times the kids are so busy with their social life and texting, they sometimes forget to care for their cell phones the way the should be cared for.
Awesome item here December 29, 2008 iv ordered this a long time ago they are so easey to put onto the phone and they last a long time. I just ordered more for a gift for my friend for the hoilday nd he said that there are awesome.
Good product, fits well - BUT application v. tricky! November 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This appears to be a good product although time will tell if it stands up to use and does not get scratched and tacky looking. The main problem with these protectors is the tricky application. Precise positioning is not difficult BUT trying to get this perfectly flat on the screen without any air bubbles is rather difficult and time consuming. I spent a long time and even then I still had 1 or 2 small bubbles that were almost impossible to remove. The process is very straight forward in theory but in practice even with careful and slow application I found that you tend to get air bubbles and tiny specks of dust or dirt trapped. A small squeegee and cloth supplied did help a bit but it took me more than three attempts, including washing and drying the screen twice to remove small specks from the adhesive side of the screen. However, in the end I was successful.
Very difficult to install October 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you have precise hands like a doctor, this product will probably be fine for you. Otherwise, I would not recommend it. After 15 minutes when I finally got the screen protector sticker on the outer screen, I went to peel the tab off the bottom of the sticker (placed there for your fingers while you are applying it) and it ripped off like a price tag. So then I could not get the remnants of the tab sticker off the screen protector. My two choices were to leave the paper resiude on my phone or to try to remove it. I tried to use a tiny bit of Goo Gone to get that off, which then of course took the screen protector off that corner of the phone. I had to take it off and throw it out. The inside screen protector was impossible for me to get on straight.
Nightmare October 18, 2008 I followed the directions exactly as stated and made completely sure there was no dust or particles in my work area before following this procedure. When I first tried to place the protector down I started from the top and worked slowly down and it had the "suction cup" type effect and got away from me and looked awful. So I pulled it off because it says Reusable. That was a huge mistake. After that it would never go down right again and the bubbles were impossible to get out. With nothing left to lose I decided to clean the protector with water and rubbing alcohol and try again. Three more attempts and the same effect. By the time I was done the screen protector was too scratched from the included squeegee to salvage. I should mention that this was the just the top layer, I didn't even attempt the inside screen. Save your money and find something more reliable.
