Finally a GREAT Bluetooth!! January 6, 2009
So I've always been a firm believer in "you get what you pay for", but I've always been leary of paying so much for a bluetooth. So I have remained in search of one for many years. Dealing with every typical frustration you can imagine or have had with a bluetooth. So after some much intensive research due to driving laws changing, etc I stumbled across the Blueant V1. I fell in love with the voice command feature, but trembled over the price. None the less I finally decided to get it for my Christmas present (the price on Amazon.com was UNBEATABLE). After a bit of shipping confusion I finally received my bluetooth today. I must say I was super impressed with how easy it was to "pair up". So I'm thinking at this point wow this is pretty nifty. Then came time to test out the "caller id" I knew in advance it didn't announce the name, but only the number so I was prepared for this. However it didn't...call after call...changing settings...reading manuals...etc...nothing! I was getting very upset as this was one of the biggest things to set it aside was the voice answering/ignoring option. Finally I did the firmware upgrade (which I do think instructions on Blueants website could be "edited") and decided to test it out. VOILA...it worked!! I was SO happy I could've flo

The sound quality & sound reduction is excellent. Love the style, very lightweight, and fits perfectly on my ear. Best of all, I can now do voice commands which I dearly missed(Iphone does not have voice commands capability).

Totally awesome headset.
Pairs easily, with voice instructions in the earpiece that follow your progress in case you do have trouble.
Voice control works excellent.
It stays in my ear, which is rare for ear pieces. Loud and clear on both sides of conversation.

I've tried them all and by far this little headset puts the competition to shame. Blue Ant is an Australian product and our Aussie friends should be proud of their work. It comes with everything and you can use the unit's accessories to power up your other USB-powered products like iPhone, iPod, etc. The voice activation is well worth it. And, the noise canceling feature works like magic. One wonders why the unit isn't ALL voice activated?!

I bought this ear piece and never had problems with it. It supports voice commands and I never had the problem that it did not get what I said even with noise in the background (radio, car, etc.). The voice of the call partner is very clear. People told me that they can understand me very good when using it, also in car. I would definitely buy it again. One thing to check ahead: Check if voice commands work with a specific phone.
