2 out of 5 stars Logitech V470   January 6, 2009
In general the mouse works very well. I am using the mouse with my desktop Imac and am having a problem with the mouse disconnecting during use. It disconnects then reconnects frequently which may be a problem of compatibility, I wish I knew.

4 out of 5 stars Good laser mouse   January 4, 2009
Rated this a 4 over 5 because it should be clarified that you need a bluetooth adaptor if not built into your notebook. Works well, comfortable fit, nice balance between travel size and ergonomic fit. Laser feature works anywhere, on your leg, on a soft chair, wherever! No need for a flat table.

After using this mouse for a few months now, I'm looking for a different mouse. I really wanted a Bluetooth mouse for my MacBook. The Logitech is much better than the Apple Bluetooth MightyMouse it replaced, but the slight lag gets annoying, especially when I'm trying to make fine adjustments like cropping a photo. I'll get about a month of battery life with Energizer Lithium batteries. The case lasted only a couple of months before it ripped. If responsiveness and battery life were much better, I would love this mouse.

5 out of 5 stars I liked it...   December 26, 2008
This is my first cordless mouse and I don't have prior experience to compare it with. But have the following comments.

It looks a lot stylish. I have the blue colored one. It fits nicely in my palm though my fingers are pretty long. I have a macbook and it was very easy to install. You just follow the instructions and you will be set.

I carry my laptop to college and leave the mouse at home. Till now I have no problems getting disconnected from the mouse at college and getting reconnected when I come back home.

I would seriously suggest to go for this mouse. It works greatly on a mac and I hope it does the same on Windows too. I have used it on my Windows running in virtual box and have no problems there too.

This is my first ever review on any product in my life :) I hope its useful in some way!

I bought this mouse in march, it worked just fine, great battery life, no problems, synced up with my macbook in no time at all. Great mouse, but then all of the sudden and for no reason, the battery life started to suck, it would only last a night, even when I turned it off at night, I changed my rechargeable batteries to regular one, and had the same problem, I tried to get a hold of Logitech customer support. Good luck, they don't have a 1800 number, and only go through email support. It took them over 2 weeks to get back to me. Told me to download some software that put their logitech control center on my mac, I did, and it go worse. Now it doesn't work. For a while it would lose the bluetooth connection for a few seconds, then a few minutes, now it won't start up at all. I tried contacting them again, another month of back and forth and they finally said they'd send me a new mouse. I will just sell it and keep the money. Buy a cheap wired mouse and forget the headache. This mouse stinks. Be ware.
