3 out of 5 stars horrible echo   August 18, 2006
The phone overall is okay. In my family, we have two of these phones. With my phone, I hear an echo every once in a while. My husbands phone has an echo every time he uses the phone. So everything he says is repeated back to him again about a second later. It makes every conversation very difficult. With that said, the point of the phone is to talk to someone and this phone does not do a good job of allowing you to do that.

3 out of 5 stars Average phone.   July 21, 2006
I've had this phone for almost a year. I got it for free after a rebate. It's all right for my first cell phone, but I'm thinking about an upgrade.

The design is small and cute. The buttons are a little too small for my liking, and they're a little noisy in my opinion. Therefore, it was hard for me to send a text in class. Haha.

I barely had any dropped calls. Maybe it's because of my location?

The sound quality was just average. Sometimes, the person I'm talking to would sound tinny. And you have to hold the phone at a certain angle; many people told me I sounded like I was underwater. Haha.

Don't expect much from the camera. Both the pictures and the videos were very poor. I did like that you can use the external display to take a picture, but that doesn't really do much. Speaking of the external display, I hated that it was COLOR. It's not very practical since it shuts off every 10 seconds. So if you wanted to look at the time, you'd have to open your phone and then close it. How annoying.

This phone was pretty average. There wasn't anything really amazing about it, but I got what I paid for.

2.5 out of 5 for me.

1 out of 5 stars Crappy phone   June 14, 2006
I got this phone, and after taking a video it would not shut down. It broke because I took a video. This phone is not a very good phone at all and I would not reccomend it at all.

1 out of 5 stars Samsung let us all down again   May 13, 2006
I've had this phone for 9 months and here's what I think about it:

Pros: compact...and that's about it

Cons: poor sound quality,
poor reception,it shows 6 bars but when you open it to make a call it magically drops to one bar or none at all.
Adress book is so complicated that after inputing close to 100 numbers in I still find it hard to use!
Software on this phone is horrible considering any feature
No bluetooth
Overall...crappy phone!

3 out of 5 stars Eh, could be better   April 15, 2006
ok ive had this phone for about 5 months and its of ok quality. It scratches very easily. I dont like the idea that there is no battery cover, i had to replace the battery because it was scratched up so badly that it almost cracked, and i barely ever drop it. Although, i dropped it in a puddle and nothing happend to it.

Pros:
Camera of good quality
outside color screen
can take pics with phone closed
great screen quality
games
aim
to-do list (makes it easy to remember things)
simple to use
video feature
small
pretty good reception
quiet vibrate
speed dial
cool headphone jack slider piece (fun to play with)
currency converter(if you can figure out how to use it)
able to put locks on certain features
3-way calling

Cons:
only holds about 60 pics
video quality is realllllly poor
doesnt save outgoing text messages
cant send 1 text to multiple people
cant put your own pics as exterior screen background
quiet sound quality

overall i think this is a pretty good phone, but if u can find a better phone for around the same price go for it
