Amazon.com Product Description Featuring sophisticated styling with a unique reflective finish and detailed craftsmanship, the KRZR is the definitive handset for those who have an appreciation for cutting edge designs. In addition to great design, you get stereo Bluetooth wireless technology, an integrated music player, a 2.0-megapixel camera, support for MPEG4 video capture and playback, and more. Additionally, the phone is compatible with T-Mobile's myFaves plan and T-Mobile's high-speed EDGE data access, making this phone the perfect complement to all that T-Mobile has to offer.
Sleek styling and a fresh update for those who crave Motorola's distinctive designs. | Design Reflecting the design language of the super-slim RAZR line of handsets, the KRZR exudes pure luxury with clean lines, precision detailing, and premium materials shrouded within a distinctive metallic gloss front finish. A 1.9-inch 176 x 220 color screen with over 260,000 colors on the inside of the flip brings images and videos to life, while a small supplementary color display on the outside cover keeps tabs on your incoming call information, current date and time, battery and signal strength, and more. The 2.0-megapixel camera is housed above this display. The KRZR features an internal antenna, so there's nothing to snag or break off, and an included MicroSD slot adds ample storage space to store content and augment the phone's 20 MB of built-in user memory. Lastly, A mini USB port is provided for data synchronization.
Thin, but oh so powerful, too. | Calling Features From London to Moab, the KRZR connects you effortlessly with friends, family, and your favorite content, thanks to support for all four GSM bands (850, 900, 1800, and 1900). The phone supports Motorola's Motospeak enhanced speaker independent voice activated dialing, as well as Bluetooth wireless headsets, so you can cut the wires and talk hands-free. Polyphonic ringtones are supported, and there's a speakerphone for those times when you want to talk while doing other things. Picture and ringer IDs allow you to set photos and ringtones to identify incoming callers. A number of ringtones come preloaded on the phone, and more ringtones can be downloaded from T-Mobile's t-zones service. Like all T-Mobile phones, the KRZR also supports voicemail, caller ID, conference calling, call forwarding, call waiting, call hold, built-in paging, and access to T-Mobile's 411 service. This phone is fully compatible with T-Mobile's myFaves service, which allows you to call up to five of your most common contacts--on any network, even landlines--without using any of your minutes. Learn more about myFaves. Messaging, Internet and Tools The KRZR supports all the messaging tools you need, such as MMS, SMS, EMS, and IM messaging capabilities. Plus, EDGE data support means you can surf the wireless Web on the built-in Web browser at speeds so fast your head will spin. There's even a built-in email client so you're always in touch no matter where you are. iTap text entry, which is a predictive text entry technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit--a plus for mobile email and text messaging users. The phone ships with a number of handy tools including an alarm clock, a calculator, a calendar, and a voice recorder. Meanwhile, the included Motosync software conveniently syncs contacts and calendar items with your PC and phone via Bluetooth or USB connectivity. If needs be, the phone can be used as a wireless modem for laptops and PDAs (T-Mobile data charges apply). In addition, the KRZR also sports an airplane mode feature, which allows the user to safely use the non-wireless functions of a phone (such as music, games, or organizer functions) on an airplane during flight. Imaging and Entertainment The ultimate all-in one device for extraordinary imaging, the KRZR lets you take pictures good enough to print. Capture your latest jaunt to London or Moab with the phone's advanced 2.0-megapixel camera that sports an 8x zoom and video capture and playback capabilities. You can also share the pictures you take with family and friends by sending them to any email address, T-Mobile camera phone, or by uploading them to your T-Mobile MyAlbum page (included free with any T-Mobile calling plan). Take your travel soundtracks with you on the road with the phone's integrated MP3 player and stereo Bluetooth headset support. The removable MicroSD card slot supports cards up to 2 GB, so there's always room for all your favorite music files. Vital Statistics The Motorola MOTOKRZR measures 4.0 x 1.70 x .60 inches and weighs 3.5 ounces. It operates on the GSM 850/900/1800/1900 frequencies. The phone's battery life is rated at up to 6.66 hours of digital talk time and up to 350 hours of standby time. The phone comes with a one year limited warranty.

Nice Looks, Poor Software September 19, 2008 The phone looks nice and is made pretty well. It held up to daily use in my pocket for over a year and I never gave much thought to protecting it. It survived drops to the street. It survived a complete soaking while I was caught in a rain storm with the phone in the pocket of my cycling jersey. I liked the small size a lot.
The software on the phone, however, is complete garbage. I don't know how it is that Motorola sells so many of these (and it's older brother, the RAZR). The menus are slow and unresponsive. Setting the alarm takes - at minimum - 7 clicks (with lag in between). That's assuming you are simply enabling an alarm you had already set up. If not, prepare for another 5-10 clicks. Alarms may not be an important feature to you (or to me really), but you can expect a continuation of this maddening user experience in all other areas. I don't have a single nice thing to say about the software.
Useless, unreliable phone September 9, 2008 I got this phone as a free replacement when my Nokia 6133 started having sound problems. This was supposed to be a free upgrade, a kind of "we're sorry" for the issues I had with the Nokia.
This was a serious downgrade in every aspect.
Here's a quick list of various problems I have on a regular basis: -People send me a text message and my phone rings instead-- I don't get the actual message for several days -People call me, but I'll get a "Missed Call" message without the phone ever ringing -People will say that they called me, but I get absolutely no indication of a call (though sometimes I'll get the "Missed Call" message... several days later) -I hit the Reply key when I get a text message and the entire phone shuts down -The entire phone frequently freezes for no particular reason -I hit a key (usually in response to a text message) and the phone's screen will go white and make a strange clicking noise -Frequent dropped calls, poor sound quality, echoing, and more!
This list is not comprehensive. There are so many weird one-time occurances that it would be impossible to list. Bottom line, this phone is worthless. Don't even get it for free.
On the plus side, though, it makes a good alarm!
MOTO KRZR July 25, 2008 I personally LOVE this phone. I'm the kind of a person who always carries a mirror with me, (because I check a little bit obsessively) but I LOVE this phone's design. The front is a mirror and you can check yourself out. It's also really sleek and pretty tiny. It fits perfectly in my palm and I love it.
I switched from a Samsung phone and I must admit that there were a lot more features on that phone (like making up a speed-dial # for everyone)and a many others I can't remember because I've had my KRZR for over a year now. I would either get the KRZR or LG Shine probably because I am completely sold for the mirror exterior thing. Overall, unless you're looking for the mirror exterior thing like me, you should probably get a Samsung or LG for more exciting and useful features.
Indestructible May 27, 2008 Greatest phone ever! Dropped it many times, still hasn't broken itself. I even slammed the car door on it accidently, only a small crack. Still works. Must get for active people!
