Motorola Battery-powered bluetooth headset November 4, 2008 This is an excellent product especially for someone like myself who travels a lot. I don't have to haul around a charger. The reception seems a bit weak at times so it's important to keep have a fresh battery. But the device will give many hours (>20 hrs talk time)of quality sound until the weak battery becomes a factor. Overall this is a very good product.
An excellent Bluetooth Headset June 19, 2008 While I can't speak from the standpoint of having owned more than one Bluetooth headset, I can say that this headset is a very good product. I have a substantial hearing loss in the upper and middle ranges of my hearing and still I find that this headset does a outstanding job of reproducing clear sound. One of the biggest single reasons that I bought it in the first place is that it uses common AAA-batteries. I have noticed that most Bluetooth headsets use rechargeable batteries which not only have a limited number of charges, but deny you the use of your headset when it is time to charge the battery. That is not the case with this headset; just put in a fresh battery, and you're good to go. Talk and standby times are also fantastic. I would easily recommend this Bluetooth Headset to anyone wanting a good product at a reasonable price.
Convenient And Dependable June 7, 2008 Inexpensive with good sound quality making it a great gift idea. Uses AAA battery for convenience. I've been using it daily for over a year without having to change the battery. Recommend to all.
Jury still out--disappointed that it hasn't held up as I expected June 5, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this when I got my Razr last year and at first it worked okay. It still falls off my ear on a regular basis and I have to find wherever it gets tangled in my hair. The main button also doesn't work half the time to disconnect, reconnect or answer a call and I have to replace it already. I've never figured out how to use the "three" buttons to mute or try call waiting, maybe a different model will work better. Still, the only thing I expected was to not have to use a wired headset and that part did work here. I still haven't figured out the other mystery beeps other than low battery. Gets static-y at times but I think that is the Razr instead of the headset.
battery dissapointment June 1, 2008 I sure expected that the batter would last longer than it does. The headset is great, more comforable than I expected and easy to use and it set up with my phone on the first try.
When I was reviewing them before buying one, I was under the impression that it had some 20-30 hours of standby life and up to 6 hours of talk time. I might be mistaken now, but I sure don't get that much out of it. Thankfully it's only one AAA battery. I think I'd rather replace a battery than have to recharge it because I can always keep a spare battery handy.
