Amazon.com Product Description For the ultimate in wireless freedom, look no further than the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset, which represents a generational leap in Bluetooth headset technology. The 510 is comfortable and light enough for all day wear, and it offers unprecedented clarity and sound quality. These are great features, but the real revolution involves Plantronics' exclusive "Multipoint" technology, which allows the headset to function as a powerful communication solution for up to two Bluetooth devices. With Multipoint technology you can switch between your voice-enabled Bluetooth mobile phone, PDA or laptop. The headset's "smart" technology knows which device you are using and allows you to take calls from any device at the touch of a button. With the optional Plantronics Bluetooth Deskphone Adapter you can even switch between your office phone and your Bluetooth mobile phone. You'll never need to use a dedicated "landline" phone headset again. The 510 features a noise-canceling microphone for clearer conversations, and it folds for easy storage. The boom also swivels for perfect positioning on either ear. One-touch call control buttons are placed for easy access, and you can easily redial the last number dialed and initiate voice-activated calls from the headset. Because the 510 is Bluetooth-enabled (it supports the Bluetooth 1.2 specification) you can roam up to 33 feet from your Bluetooth device. Meanwhile, the 510 supports adaptive frequency hopping (AFH) which helps avoid interference from wi-fi networks. Ample talk time is provided by the built-in rechargeable battery; you'll get up to 6 hours talk time and up to 100 hours of standby time.

Hmmm August 28, 2008 It seems like a good product other then the short distance away from the phone untill it starts fading signal. Cheaper models of blue tooth devises I found have better range then that. Otherwise it seems to be a good product, i suppose
My second one, still the best August 28, 2008 I purchased a Voyager 510 a couple of years ago and paid $99.99 for it (Before I found Amazon). and I just loved it. Then being stupid I read all the hype about the Jawbone and when I broke my Voyager, I decided to get the Jawbone. What a HUGE mistake!.. The Jawbone is junk. My second Voyager is just as wonderful as the first, I've already walked around in the wind, while talking to my wife, and she could hear me perfectly and couldn't hear the wind. It's the best product on the market. And of course Amazon got it hear so quick I didn't even have time to track my package!... Thanks Amazon for selling such a great product.
Great headset August 28, 2008 While its size and bulk may dissuade some people, this headset weighs very little and is very comfortable. The volume at which I can hear conversations surprised me--I don't have it at full volume and I can still hear over the noise of freeway traffic, something I have until recently not expected of a headset. It was remarkably easy to link with my Motorola phone and I have not noticed significant battery drain (still running on its first charge!). The only thing keeping this headset from getting 5 stars is the fact that--like all headsets I've tried--it starts to make my ear hurt about two hours after beginning to wear it, even though it's remarkably comfortable for the first hour or so.
Great ear piece August 28, 2008 People can finally hear everything I say when I'm driving in my car and talking "hands free" with a more than adequate bluetooth. Also, great price.
Great bluetooth option August 27, 2008 Since CA now requires the use of a handsfree device while driving (though not for texting, weirdly enough), my wife and I each needed one. We got two of these to work with our motorola razr phones and have definitely been pleased over the past two months. The one issue we've noticed so far is that the battery status indicator starts flashing red later then we'd like, particularly if it's been on standby for a while and then is actually put in use. Driving with the windows down does cause some background noise, but that's to be expected. We'd definitely get these again :)
