Great Hands Free Device June 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had a hands-free bluetooth device for the ear before. But, found it annoying ,especially for long periods of time, to have this thing handing on my ear. So I tried this speaker device that clips on the visor of my car. I can hear the caller very clearly and they can hear me clearly, but have to have the windows rolled up and radio turned off. Otherwise the microphone picks up the sounds, same issue with the ear device. But, that is not a big concern and do not need the radio playing when talking anyway. The price was reasonable and about the same as for an ear device.
There are a few blemishes that I would like to point out, not deal breakers. The device should, but doesn't, come with a charger for the home. Luckily I own a Motorola cell phone and could use it on the speaker device. Secondly, the flashing blue light at night is very distracting. They need to make it smaller and less annoying. Also the light is impossible to see in the daylight. Would be nice if they had an audio only mode you could switch it to.
Great invention and I am very please with the product. Just needs a little fine tuning.
Easy to use, excellent sound quality, wonderful product June 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I don't understand some of the complaints about the T305, unless the sound quality varies with the make of the phone. We now have two in our family, one primarily with a Nokia, the other with a Blackberry. We're happy enough that I'm looking to purchase a third for use with my Palm.
My wife recently switched from an integrated car phone to the T305 with her Nokia. She loves it.
The sound quality and noise reduction is excellent. My daughter called with her T305-Blackberry pair with the windows down, and we couldn't even tell. My wife's friends compliment her on the sound quality.
Both of ours came with an AC adapter, and not a car adapter. I don't know if that's a recent change in packaging, or if it's a special combination as sold by the AT&T factory stores.
There hasn't been a single comment from my family about the light being invisible during the day or too bright/blinking at night, so I suspect Motorola did a good job selecting a compromise brightness level for varying lighting conditions and personality preferences.
Voice dialing works great for the T305-Blackberry combo, but we haven't yet tried it with the Nokia.
hands free speaker June 24, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
With the new law I was looking for something easy for in the car that was not price two high. I checked out other reviews & this was sure the one. This was easy to set up and use. I am very happy with the sound quality. It works great with my blackberry pearl. We are not really high tech people so we were pleased with how easy it is to use. I like it better than an ear piece style for hands free use. This just clips to the visor and when it needs a charge it uses the same one as our phone so that was an unexpected perk, did not need to mess with two chargers. So over all very pleased with unit.
T305 is next best thing to built in BT June 23, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this product. I have an '04 MDX, the '05 has BT built in, so this is the next best thing. It works seamlessly, even if you're in and out of the car, connecting and disconnecting as needed. The only problem I've had is with it's battery life. It's not as useful for longer trips, as it will only last for ~4hrs, turned on and connected. Running a cable up to it on your visor is less than idea too. Otherwise this product is excellent. I got it for my wife who usually has her phone in her purse, and doesn't hear it ring. No she answers when I call!
Nice unit, nice price June 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I wanted a car bluetooth because I don't want to wear a "Borg" implant in my ear. Other users complaint about the lack of a home charger, however, if you have a standard card reader USB cord, you can charge the unit at your computer. Merely plug in a USB cord to your computer and plug in the T-305 and the computer will charge it. The only annoying feature is the beeping when your cell phone doesn't connect to the cell phone network. I live in a hilly area of Northern California and my cell coverage goes in and out when traveling in some areas, but overall it is worth not having an ear piece and the convenience of having it clipped on the sun visor. Turning it on and off is no big deal.
