3 out of 5 stars Would someone pleasssssse tell me more about the sound!!!   August 5, 2008
This is device number 3 purchased for my boss who is in his early 70s! First one would not fit over his mirror so it went to his daughter. Second one would not sync up to his phone but it did to mine. And third times a charm...right? I tried it out on my Samsung T629 no problem getting it to sync so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Motorola device syncs with the Motorola Razor too!
So now down to the sound....I tried it out and first my husband says he heard a man's voice too like it picked up someone elses conversation and that was with me calling him. My sister with me calling her said I sounded like a robot and I had her call me and she said the same thing...we had fun with it and sang domo arigato mr roboto though. I've read a few reviews where the sound quality being poor is mentioned could someone please elaborate?!?!?!?!? lari.miyamoto and that's at yahoo if you would be so kind as to go into more detail.
Really I'm getting to the point where I hate to get my boss to buy a device because it seems there is always something funky going on and not a good funky!

5 out of 5 stars Works Fantastic!   August 2, 2008
I have tried most of the in ear type headsets, however for the car this is the answer for me. I have paired this to a late model ATT Nokia and the results are ok? However Paired to my Sprint Sanyo Katana the results are spectacular! I love it.

We also got very good results with Pairing it up to a Verizon Razor.

The battery life is excellent. The device only comes with a car charger, however if you phone charges with the typical mini usb type connector, such as the later Razors, you can use that.

I love the simple smart size. It's just a little smaller than a garage door opener button. The power on/off button is out of the way for accidental confusion.

One button on either side of the device for vol up/down.
One large button to answer and initiate voice activated phones.

No excuse to ever take your eyes off the road to find the buttons.

One thing I did not like on the ATT Nokia, was when you wanted to give the phone a voice command it was very hard to determine when to speak your command. Also this device has a very pleasant ring tone built in, that the Nokia overrides with it's own loud ring tone.

On the other hand the Sprint Sanyo would clearly ask you "who would you like to call" when you pushed the blue button on the T305. If it missed the command it would repeat one more time before disconnecting.

Like all other handsfree devices I have tried, you must try to have limited background noise when trying to initiate voice commands. Once engaged in a call, there is no problem hearing the other party. The volume and clarity of in coming calls is excellent!

The parties on the other end of the line also are extremely pleased with the sound quality they are experiencing on their end.

I purchased 5 T305's

I gave em to friends and everyone is very happy with the results.

I would highly recommend.

3 out of 5 stars quirky   August 2, 2008
somewhat good...the voice instructions get lost in translation to the computer...voice recognition not great...windows down are a killer on the rec'ver's side...windows up always ...need for better clarity..ie, user friendliness needs improvement

3 out of 5 stars OK, depending on your use   August 1, 2008
I ended up returning this item in favor of an ear-piece. It worked fine and always paired with my phone perfectly, but I couldn't turn the volume up high enough for this to work for me. If I were making short calls just to get or give info, it might have been fine. But I use my time in the car (commute) to check in with mom, grandma, and such. This didn't work for long conversations mostly on the freeway. Also, callers couldn't hear me as well as they can on my new ear-piece. Wonderful idea, not so perfect execution.

1 out of 5 stars Awful ergonomics and call quality   July 31, 2008

I'm not a complainer by nature, but there way nothing to like about this. My brother and I both bought them at the same store, and had the same experience.

Finding the tiny button and holding it down for several seconds while I'm driving - no go.

And the call quality was horrible.

In short, completely unusable. Too bad, I had high hopes.

My brother kept his because the chargers were good for his phone. Mine went back.
